A comprehensive win for Pahang Rangers over ATM as Felipe De Souza and Rodrigo Da Silva were the starts of the show, both scoring hat-tricks.
An early start for title chasers Pahang Rangers who got Circuit 5 Matchday 2 underway against ATM Futsal in Shah Alam.
Have not featured on Matchday 1, Edgar Baldasso’s side were keen not to lose touch with the top two and they took a fifth minute lead, Rodrigo’s pinpoint pass was headed in by Felipe De Souza.
ATM, who were beaten by Terengganu in their previous match battled back to level Imran Samsudin with a nice finish, and they almost took the lead but captain Shamsuri Saleh’s shot came back off the post.
Pahang who started the day level on points with JDT retook the lead before half time when De Souza scored his second of the match from close range to send his side in with a narrow lead at half time.
It was a one-sided second half as Pahang eased to another victory, two excellent goals from Rodrigo Da Silva, one direct from a free-kick made it 4-1, De Souza completed his hat-trick to overtake Selangor’s Marlon in the race for top scorer, Rodrigo also completed his hat-trick, he and De Souza have scored more than half Pahang’s goals this season.
