Felipe de Almeida Souza is a Brazilian futsal winger, known for his speed, direct running and attacking work from the flank. Born on 4 June 1991 in Santo André, São Paulo, he plays as an ala and has moved between Brazil and international club futsal in recent seasons.
Felipe built his career as a football-minded attacker in the Brazilian regional leagues before making the switch to fulltime futsal. His physical frame and goal threat from the wing made him attractive to clubs that wanted a strong offensive option on the right or left.
More recently, he joined Pahang Rangers FC in the Malaysia Premier Futsal League, where he has been used as a forward. His move to Asia has added a new chapter to his career and brought his attacking style into the Southeast Asian futsal scene.
On court, Felipe is a classic winger, using his pace and strength to attack defenders one-on-one and cut inside to shoot. He is also used to provide width when the team pushes forward and to help press the opposition in the final third.
At the age of 33, he combines experience with power, which makes him a useful option both in tight games and in matches where his team needs to stretch the play. That mix of size, pace and finishing underpins his role as a forward who can change a game when given space.
