The final game of Circuit 4 Matchday 1 is a mouth watering clash between the top two, as Selangor, who extended their perfect record last weekend with a win over JDT, take on unbeaten hosts Pahang Rangers.

There is a real feeling around both sides that this is the season they can break the dominance of JDT, who have won the league in each of the last two campaigns.

The foreigners have made the difference so far. For Selangor, Marlon has scored 15 goals and leads the scoring charts, well supported by Evandro Borges, who struck a hat-trick in last Sunday's win over JDT. Between them the pair have contributed twenty three of Selangor's 49 goals.

Pahang Rangers, who will hope a big home crowd can carry them to the top of the table, sit two points behind Selangor after big wins last weekend over Kuala Lumpur City and USM. They too have leaned heavily on their imports, Felipe De Souza and Rodrigo Da Silva, twenty seven goals between them, with Rodrigo finding the net five times during Circuit 3.

Pahang need just two more goals to reach a half century for the season.

These sides finished third and second respectively over the last two seasons, but there is a genuine belief that both can fare even better this time around.

Kick-off is at 8.30pm on Saturday.
