Evandro Borges, often known just as “Evandro” or “Evandro Borges”, is a Brazilian futsal winger who has become one of the top attacking players in the modern game.
Born on 18 June 1998 in Urussanga, Santa Catarina, he plays as an ala and is especially known for his speed, dribbling and goalscoring from the wing.
Evandro began his career in Brazil with Tubarão, where he quickly stood out as a young talent in the national futsal league. He later moved to clubs such as JEC/Krona and Joinville, winning several state and national titles along the way, including the Taça Brasil and the Catarinense state championship.
In 2025 he joined Selangor FC Futsal in Malaysia, where he has been a key attacking force and helped the team win the Malaysia Cup. His performances there have made him one of the most recognisable Brazilians in Southeast Asian futsal.
Evandro has also represented Brazil at youth and senior level, taking part in competitions such as the South American Futsal Championship. He was named best South American player in 2018, underlining his status as one of the continent’s standout futsal wingers.
Over his career, he has collected a long list of trophies, including the Taça Brasil, Supercopa Gramado, Recopa Catarinense and the Malaysia Cup. His mix of pace, finishing and technical ability makes him a classic modern futsal winger who can change a game on his own.
