Selangor scored thirteen without reply against Wipers on Matchday One, and it took them just a minute to go in front against ATM, captain Khairul Effendy getting his first goal of the new season.
Again, Selangor's two foreigners Marlon and Evandro were causing all the problems, and Marlon, who scored five in the opening match on Saturday, grabbed another to double their advantage.
Evandro made it three with less than five minutes gone and the signs looked ominous for ATM. The newcomers, who finished 9th in division two last season, conceded another two before half time, Marlon with his second and Saiful Nizam with his second of the season putting Selangor into a commanding 5-0 lead.
ATM did find the net just before the break as Selangor conceded their first goal of the season, Alif Iqwan dispossessing Evandro and rolling into the empty net as Selangor led 5-1 at the interval.
The second half started slowly and it was seven and a half minutes before there was any addition to the scoring, Farhan Khairul extending Selangor's lead before Marlon registered another hat-trick to make it eight goals in two matches and claim his second man of the match in a row.
Nazreen Saudi made it eight, Akram Mukhriz pulled another one back for ATM, before Syahir Iqbal rounded off the scoring in the final seconds to complete the 9-2 as Selangor took their goal tally to 22 in their first two matches of the season.
