Having lost to JDT on Saturday, Terengganu looked to bounce back as they played Pahang Rangers on Circuit Two Matchday Two.
The first eleven and a half minutes were fiercely contested, with Pahang having several attempts at goal but unable to find a way through Terengganu's defences.
Once they finally broke that resistance the goals flowed, Harith Na'im putting them in front with a well-taken solo effort. Brazilian Rodriguinho was once again running things, his powerful free kick doubling the advantage.
He scored his second, another brilliant goal, this time volleying in a corner, and just seconds later Felipe De Souza got in on the act with his first of the match, adding to the six he scored against Wipers yesterday.
Pahang's fourth came courtesy of an own goal, Terengganu's Syed Shahrul turning the ball into his own net under pressure.
The second half belonged to Pahang and De Souza, who completed his hat-trick to move into double figures for the weekend.
A superb solo goal, a simple tap-in from a cross and another impressive shot on the turn sealed his treble.
A clean sheet as well made it a good afternoon all round for last season's third-place finishers. Terengganu are still looking for their first point after a third straight defeat.
