Pahang Rangers will look to keep up their good form and go back to the top of the MPFL table even for a few hours when they take on KL City on Matchday 1.

Only Selangor have scored more goals than Pahang who have scored 26 in their last two matches including nineteen against Wipers.

Pahang who finished third in the last two seasons have won three of their opening four matches and staged a brilliant comeback from three down to draw with defending champions JDT.

Brazilian Felipe De Souza is currently joint top scorer with 11 goals and is proving a real handful in their early games of the season.

KL City have made a mixed start, a point in their opening game of the season was followed by their first win over Wipers.

They only played one game in the last Circuit and suffered a heavy 8-0 defeat to defending champions JDT.

There's already a six-point gap from third place JDT back to KL City in 4th place.

The game kicks off at 13.30 on Saturday.
