Preview: JDT v PFA Odin Sarawak
JDT go in search of a fifth win in a row against a PFA Odin side who picked up four points in Circuit 6

Johor Darul Ta'zim take on PFA Odin Sarawak in Circuit 7, a repeat of a Circuit 3 fixture that JDT won 10-1, with Mahadir Harahap and Mohamad Awalludin both scoring hat-tricks that day. Joao Almeida's side have lost only once all season, a defeat to league leaders Selangor, and arrive full of confidence after an 8-1 win over KL City in their last outing.
JDT's scoring is spread throughout the side rather than resting on one man. Andresito leads the way with 11 goals for the season, with Mohamad Awalludin and Mahadir Harahap both on 10, Bruno Taffy on 8, and Muhammad Ekmal on 7. That depth has been central to a run that has also produced a 17-0 win over Wipers and an 8-3 victory over ATM this season.
PFA Odin, coached by Mohd Faizal bin Zamri, are in better shape than their position in the table might suggest. A 1-1 draw with ATM was followed by a 5-1 win over Wipers, giving the side back-to-back results without defeat heading into a far sterner test. Striker Asyraff, still only in his early twenties, remains the player supporters look to for a moment of quality, with five goals and two player-of-the-match awards already this season, while Zafqul Syamil scored twice in the win over Wipers and will look to carry that form forward.
History suggests a difficult afternoon for the visitors. JDT have not lost at this level in some time and have shown no mercy to sides lower in the table, but PFA Odin's recent uptick in form at least offers some hope of a more competitive showing than their previous meeting.
JDT will look to maintain their pursuit of Selangor at the top of the table, while PFA Odin will simply hope to build on a rare unbeaten run and avoid a repeat of the Circuit 3 scoreline.
The match kicks off at 17.00 on Saturday. You can watch live on the MPFL channel on YouTube.
