KL City are again up first on Matchday 2 as they take on the two time defending champions JDT who play their only game of Circuit 6
Jerry Dinesh’s KL City go in search of back to back wins when they host Johor Darul Ta'zim, who return to action after sitting out matchday one. KL City came from 4-1 down to beat USM FC 5-4 on matchday one, Syahid Ajid scoring twice, including a 38th minute winner.
Dinesh Kumar and Daniel Almeida were also on target, continuing the pair's fine recent form in front of goal.
Joao Almeida's side, however, remain the team to beat this season, and they arrive full of confidence after routing KL City 8-0 the last time the two sides met. Bruno Taffy, Mahadir Harahap and Ridzwan Bakri have all found the net regularly, while Awalludin Mat Nawi and Ekmal Shahrin add further firepower to a squad that has shown little mercy to sides they have come up against.
KL City will need big performances from Almeida and Dinesh Kumar if they are to avoid a repeat of that heavy defeat.
