Wipers v JDT: still-winless Wipers face a daunting visit from third-placed JDT
Bottom side Wipers, the division's only winless team, host a JDT side that has lost just once all season and arrives on the back of an 8-3 win over ATM.

Wipers' miserable start to the MPFL 2026 season continues to look for its first sign of a corner turned, and Circuit 5 brings a daunting visit from Joao Nuno Alves De Almeida's Johor Darul Ta'zim, who sit third in the table on 16 points from seven matches.
Mohd Ruzaley Abdul Aziz's side remain the division's only winless team, without a point after seven attempts, their heaviest reverses including a 2-19 mauling at the hands of Pahang Rangers and a 0-13 opening-day defeat to Selangor. Their most recent outing, an 0-8 loss to USM, offered little to suggest an upturn is imminent.
JDT, by contrast, have lost only once all season, that reverse coming against league leaders Selangor, and they arrive on the back of an 8-3 win over ATM in which Ekmal Shahrin was named MVP.
Alcantra remains their most reliable source of goals with nine for the campaign, closely followed by Bruno Taffy on seven, and both will fancy their chances against a Wipers rearguard that has conceded 67 goals in seven matches, the worst defensive record in the league.
Wipers have shown occasional signs of resistance, Rafiq Faisal and others chipping in with goals against Terengganu and PFA Odin earlier in the campaign, and they will hope to give a better account of themselves than some of their heavier defeats. But with JDT's firepower and a settled squad, a comfortable win looks the most likely outcome, leaving Wipers still searching for that elusive first victory of the 2026 season.
The match kicks off at 13.30 on Saturday.
