ATM 6-0 Wipers

ATM took on Wipers in the opening match of Circuit Three in Selangor, with Wipers looking to pick up their first point of the MPFL season.

ATM, who won their last match against USM, started brightly, Faizulnizam seeing his shot blocked by keeper Dharimi Shawal.

Wipers had chances in the first half, three of them coming from their biggest threat, the lively Muhammad Rafiq, who forced ATM keeper Syahman Bin Idris into three good saves.

ATM finally made the breakthrough just before half time. After Wipers committed their sixth foul, the resulting penalty was smartly converted by Bukhari Samsudin to give ATM a slender 1-0 lead.

They extended the lead two and a half minutes into the second half, Muhamad Imran's kick-in leaving Bukhari with a simple tap-in for his second of the match.

Wipers had a good chance to reduce the deficit but Muhammad Ifzhar failed to hit the target.

From there it was all ATM as they recorded a second successive win. Haziq Husaibullah made it three, then a lovely rolled pass from Raziman Opao set up Akram Mukhriz for number four.

Bukhari completed his hat-trick, and Raziman Opao fired a great shot into the top corner to complete the scoring.

A 6-0 win for ATM, and another defeat for Wipers, who have now lost all five of their MPFL games so far.
