match report: Wipers 1 - 4 USM
More disappointment for Wipers who were beaten again, but USM move above PFA Odin in the table.
The bottom two met on matchday 2 in Pasir Gudang both looking for a positive end to the season.
Wipers, who didn’t play on matchday 1 had picked up just a point all season, while USM, lost to Pahang on match day one but only by a 2-0 scoreline
It was Wipers that took an early lead, Rifqi Danish’s long range shot deflected in off USM defender Al-Afiq Basri, just the 13th goal they had scored all season.
They held the lead for eight minutes before USM who were looking for a third win of the season equilised, Eikmal Danial’s cross was converted by Haikal Adam.
With 10 seconds of the first half to go USM took the lead for the first time, this time the roles were reversed as Adam’s cross was converted by Danial.
USM added two more in the second half to record their second win of the season over Wipers, Haikal Adam for his second of the match from a short free kick and Aiman Naimi made it 4-1 to take USM above PFA Odin as they reached ten points.
