match report:JDT 15-1 PFA Odin
JDT picked up another big win to close the gap on leaders Selangor as they hit double figures for the third time this season.

Johor Darul Ta'zim continued their surge towards the top of the MPFL 2026 standings at the Stadium Tertutup SUKPA in Kuantan, brushing aside PFA Odin Sarawak 15-1 to extend a run that has now yielded eight wins and a draw from their last nine outings, with Selangor the only side to have beaten them all season. It was a repeat of their 10-1 win over the same opponents back in June, and this time JDT were even more ruthless, with Mohamad Awalludin Mat Nawi capping a four-goal display by being named Player of the Match.
The rout was on from the off. Alcantara pened the scoring inside three minutes and added a second before the quarter-hour, either side of a Norakmal Norizal strike, as JDT raced into a commanding lead. Awalludin Mat Nawi got off the mark in the 14th minute before Muhammad Ekmal Shahrin and a second Norakmal goal made it 6-0 at the break, PFA Odin unable to find any foothold in the contest.
The second half brought no let-up. Awalludin Mat Nawi scored another three goals in a one minute burst around the 22nd minute, before Muhammad Bukhairi bin Samsudin, Mahadir Harahap bin Khairuddin and Mohd Firdaus Ambiah all found the net in quick succession. PFA Odin did register a consolation through substitute Mohamad Azrin Shahmin bin Jefery in the 26th minute, but it did little to stem the tide, as Syed Aizad Daniel bin Syed Nasir, a third Norakmal goal and Mohd Ridzwan bin Bakri completed the scoring to make it 15-1.
A caution for Syed Khidir Shaab bin Syed Yahya Sha'ab was the only blemish on an otherwise dominant afternoon for JDT, whose attacking options continue to look a class above much of the division. For PFA Odin, already toiling in mid-table, it was another chastening reminder of the gulf to the league's leading pack.
