Terengganu v ATM: mid-table points on the line as Circuit 5 begins
Terengganu and ATM meet for the first time this season, three points apart in the bottom half, in a Circuit 5 opener that could prove pivotal for both.

Terengganu and ATM meet in Circuit 5 of the MPFL 2026 season without having faced each other yet this year, the two sides currently separated by three points in the bottom half of the table.
Mohd Shafily Bin Jusoh's Terengganu sit sixth on seven points from seven matches, their recent form patchy: a 9-1 demolition of Wipers followed by a 2-5 defeat to KL City last time out.
Alif Mat Amin, who scored a hat-trick in that win over Wipers, leads their scoring charts with eight goals for the season and will look to add to that tally against an ATM defence that has looked shaky in stretches.
Izmir Firdaus Bin Zainal Ariff's ATM arrive fifth on ten points, three wins from seven matches including a comfortable 5-1 defeat of PFA Odin, though they were brought firmly back down to earth by an 8-3 loss to JDT in their last outing. Shamsuri Saleh and Bukhari Samsudin, level on four goals each, carry the goal threat for a side that has shown it can be as generous at the back as it is dangerous going forward.
Neither team has managed more than three wins all season, and both have shipped plenty of goals along the way, so an open, end-to-end contest looks the likely outcome. With mid-table places still very much up for grabs, this first meeting between the two clubs could prove pivotal for whichever side leaves with the points.
The match gets Circuit 5 Matchday one underway at 10.00am on Saturday.
