Match Report: USM 4-2 PFA Odin
A strong end to the season for USM, who beat PFA Odin to finish 7th in the MPFL table.
USM ended the MPFL 2026 regular season with a win over PFA Odin Sarawak, coming from behind to seal a 4-2 victory in Shah Alam and, with it, seventh place in the final table.
Muhammad Alif Bin Mohamed put Mohd Yuzmuhaimizee Bin Yaacob's side ahead inside the first minute, but PFA Odin Sarawak hit back through captain Mohamad Azrin Shahmin Bin Jefery to level midway through the first half. Mohammad Eikmal Daniel Bin Rahadi restored USM's lead soon after, and a penalty from the same player, his second of the afternoon, made it 3-1 before the break. PFA Odin Sarawak's Mohd Nazwan Airil Bin Mohd Haykal pulled one back early in the second half, but a penalty from Mohamad Al-Afiq Bin Md Basri, in the 24th minute, restored USM's two-goal cushion and proved decisive.
The closing stages turned feisty, Muhammad Faris Bin Mohd Khaled sent off for USM after picking up a second caution, and PFA Odin Sarawak's Mohamad Azrin Shahmin also booked, along with team-mate Mohammad Dzul Idzwaniezam Bin Madin, before an additional caution for PFA Odin Sarawak assistant coach Zamri Bin Amat in the dying minutes.
Eikmal Daniel Rahadi's brace earned him the player of the match award as USM finished the regular season on 13 points from 16 matches, above PFA Odin Sarawak, who end on nine points and bottom but one. The result brings the curtain down on the MPFL 2026 regular season, with the final table now available at mpfl.my ahead of the play-offs.
