A much more evenly matched contest was expected when Wipers, who had conceded 37 goals in their first three games, took on PFA Odin Sarawak on Matchday Two of Circuit Two in Johor.
PFA Odin, who drew 2-2 with KL City on the opening day, got off to a flying start, scoring the opener just seconds into the match, Asyraff Zakaris wasting no time in putting his team ahead.
PFA had been beaten 9-1 by Selangor on Saturday, and went into a 2-0 lead here, Georgi Kinkladze setting up Dzul Idzwaniezam.
But Wipers battled back to level, Syed Muhammad Rayyan scoring through the keeper's legs, and Aidil Fazrez equalised as Wipers produced a much better performance.
They did fall behind again though just before the break, Aidil Putra ensuring PFA went in with a slender lead at half time.
PFA restored the two-goal cushion three minutes into the second half, Kinkladze with his second assist of the match to set up Mohd Hafiz, who made it 4-2.
But resilient Wipers halved the deficit once more, Aidil Fazrez with his second of the match.
From there though the game belonged to PFA. Aidil Putra scored his second of the match, Azrin Shahmin scored a long ranger from the edge of his own D, with keeper Shawal supporting the Wipers attack and leaving his net unguarded, and Syakir Irfan pulled one back for Wipers. PFA's scoring was completed by Asyraff, who grabbed his second of the match to wrap up the win.
