Selangor host Wipers on Sunday in matchday two of circuit five, with Edgar Baldasso's side looking to continue a season of relentless attacking form against opponents still searching for a first point.

Selangor made light work of KL City on matchday one, winning 7-2 in a result that extended a run of big scorelines that has become the hallmark of their campaign. Marlon and Syahir Iqbal have led the way in front of goal throughout the season, and both were among the scorers again as Selangor moved through the gears with ease.

Wipers, by contrast, suffered their heaviest defeat of the campaign on matchday one, beaten 17-0 by Johor Darul Ta'zim in a result that leaves Mohd Ruzaley Abdul Aziz's side still searching for their first win of the season. It continues a difficult run for a squad that has struggled to find consistency in front of goal, and confidence will not be easy to rebuild ahead of a trip to face one of the division's most in-form sides.

The two teams have already met once this season, on the opening day back in May, when Selangor ran out 13-0 winners courtesy of a five-goal haul from Marlon, who was named man of the match. Syahir Iqbal, Nazreen Saudi, Aidil Zaidi and Aidil Afiqzam were among those also on the scoresheet that day in a one-sided contest from the first whistle.

Since that opening day defeat, Wipers have found goals hard to come by against sides at the top end of the table, and matchday one's loss to JDT extended a winless run stretching back to the start of the season. Selangor, meanwhile, have barely paused for breath, following up May's rout of Wipers with further big wins over ATM, PFA Odin, USM and Terengganu, a run that shows little sign of slowing.

On the evidence of both sides' matchday one performances, Sunday's meeting looks set to follow a similar pattern. Selangor will have every confidence of adding to their tally of big wins this season, while Wipers will simply be looking for signs of resistance and a foothold in the game as they continue their search for a first victory of the campaign.

The match rounds off Circuit 5 with a 20.30 kick-off time
